Chamber Welcomes Big Guys BBQ Roadhouse

August 29, 2019, Stillwater, Minnesota. The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce welcomed new member Big Guys BBQ Roadhouse at a ribbon cutting celebration on August 22, 2019. The event took place at 1237 Hwy 35 North, Hudson, Wisconsin. Big Guys owner, staff, family, friends, Chamber Ambassadors, members, and staff were there to join in the celebration.
Big Guys BBQ Roadhouse is a southern style Texas BBQ joint which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The BBQ establishment also caters by pick-up, delivery, or on-site with portable smokers, and has a mouth-watering food truck. Other offerings at the Roadhouse are pool, darts, bags, and volleyball leagues, a plethora of TV’s, and periodic live music. Big Guys was dreamed, envisioned, and ultimately came to fruition by Craig (Jethro) Lund, a Hudson local who possessed the vision and passion for creating a venue with a new, fun, and exciting atmosphere, while boasting a menu and experience not found anywhere else. The building where Big Guys is located was actually built with his father’s help back in 1975. “I knew I had to be in this building when it became available,” said Jethro. “A funny story, my dad told me he had lost a string of work lights at the site when he was laying brick and doing cement work back in the 70’s. I happened to look in the attic and found them, and told him, dad, we got your lights back!” Jethro’s father was able to see him move into the building before he passed away from cancer.
Jethro resides in St Joseph's Township with his boss babe, and right hand woman, Amy. The duo is involved in the community through eRATicate Cancer Cruise, and their location has become the largest fundraising benefit venue in the area. They are most looking forward to growing with their ever expanding community.
