Janelle Haskins, owner of J. Bellissima Salon along with Al (Blades), cut the ribbon at the Chamber welcome celebration on August 31st, 2023.  

Stillwater, MN. The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce welcomed local business
J. Bellissima Salon and Blades to the Chamber and the community with a ribbon cutting celebration on August 31st, 2023. The event took place at 222 3rd Street South in Stillwater, MN with owner Janelle Haskins, Blades, their families, friends, Greater Stillwater Chamber ambassadors and staff. 

Janelle Haskins has been a stylist for over 20 years, working in salons in Las Vegas, Nashville and the Twin Cities before opening J Bellissima Salon in 2018. Her desire to make every client look and feel their very best has driven her business as she established a reputation for genuine care for her clients. Her boutique hair salon has grown over the past five years and today she welcomes Al or Blades as he is known in the industry, to share her space and her salons offerings.

Blades has been in the industry for over 30 years, beginning with cosmetology school in Burlington, Iowa. Blades was fortunate to begin his career with an internship under an internationally recognized stylist, then working in Illinois and eventually owning his own shop.  After 14 years he moved to the twin cities to marry the woman he loved and bring his passion and skills to work beside Janelle at J Bellissima Salon.

Blades has years of experience with clipper designs, fades, military high fades, flat tops and the latest trends.  Janelle is great at colors, cuts, foils and all the latest techniques.
