Chamber Welcomes DJ's Clam Shack with a Ribbon Cutting

Stillwater, MN. The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce celebrated local business DJ’s Clam Shack on December 18th, 2024. Tony Misenor along with his wife Jessica and their business partners; Jeremy and Christy Luoma and Dave and Mindy Burkhardt, their staff, family, friends, Greater Stillwater Chamber ambassadors and staff were gathered for the celebration.

DJ’s Clam Shack offers a simple, fast casual food service designed to provide great food to each guest, in a fun, family-friendly environment.  The menu is an assortment of seafood, chowders and their specialty lobster, shrimp and clam dishes.

DJ’s Clam Shack was created in late 2009 when two lower keys restaurateurs decided to combine years of experience to create easily accessible fresh seafood on Duval St. in Key West. The newly formed partnership was steeped in rich northeast seafood tradition, one partner hailing from Ipswich, Massachusetts the other from Blue Point, New York. Mix in over forty years of living, fishing and working the Florida keys, with its variety and incredible bounty of seafood, a recipe for success begins to emerge. The partners agreed that bringing traditional northern and southern seafare together would interest people but they would have to combine only freshest and highest quality ingredients and find a way to keep prices reasonable. A small store in the middle of old town was selected and innovative “cone” packaging was added to complete one of the best traditional seafood experiences in the country.

DJ’s Clam Shack appeared in Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives (often nicknamed Triple D), an American food reality television series that has aired on the Food Network since April 23, 2007. It is hosted by Guy Fieri, and in recent episodes Hunter Fieri has joined his dad in exploring cuisines and restaurants.  This is an incredible honor that is not given to many restaurants, and helps to launch the concept into immediate trust and a frenzy to try the Guy Fieri-approved cuisine.
