Valley vine & Harvest Throwdown

The Valley Vine & Harvest Throwdown is a competitive food event for area chefs. Guests feast on seven delectable mini-meals and sample complementary wines. Guests learn cooking techniques, vote on their favorite meal and have the opportunity to bid on unique live and silent auction items, or win a bottle of wine from the wine wall. Throwdown competitors include Acqua, Danny?s Restaurant at Stone Ridge, Domacin, The Green Room, Marx Fusion Bistro, Phil?s Tara Hideway and San Pedro. New this year! Grand Cru VIP Event Sunday, October 13th 3 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Lake Elmo Inn Event Center Tickets: $65 per person Buy your tickets early as this year we have added an exclusive, limited ticket pre-Throwdown event called the Grand Cru VIP Event! It?s the ultimate experience for food and wine lovers. Enjoy specially made, over the top hors d? oeuvres, prepared by award-winning Chef John Schiltz of the Lake Elmo Inn. Toast your glass of champagne to this year?s harvest as our two food and wine experts share their secrets and recipes. Chef John Schiltz will demonstrate one of his favorite creations. Wine Ambassador, Andy Kass, will explain his wine pairings with each restaurant?s dish from the main event. Only 50 tickets are available, so truly it will be?First Come, First Served!
