Valley Chamber Chorale - "Spiritual Songs"

Spiritual Songs...songs that speak from the heart
 

What speaks/sings to you?  Sting's "Love Is the Seventh Wave" - or maybe an African American Spiritual such as "Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child" - or maybe even an exquisitely sung rendition of a Monteverdi motet. All this and more will be offered as the Valley Chamber Chorale, the Woodbury High School Concert Choir and guest soloist Aleks Knezevich join together for two performances of "Spiritual Songs". Concerts are Friday, April 20, at 8 pm and Sunday, April 22 at 4 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church in Stillwater. 
 

Aleks Knezovich - a talented young artist who passed through the Woodbury Concert Choir and the Valley Chamber Chorale along his way to the Guthrie Theater and Broadway auditions. You have not only seen him at the Guthrie in the staring role of "HMS Pinafore" but also at the Bloomington Civic Theater, the Phipps and Park Square Theater. He is not only a talented singer, but also actor and dancer. You will see it all in this performance. 

The Woodbury High School Concert Choir is a mixed choir for grades 10, 11 and 12 directed by Daryl Timmer, assistant director of the Valley Chamber Chorale.
