St Croix Valley Garden Tour
-
On July 18 and 19, gardens in and around Stillwater will be ready to bloom for a much-anticipated event, the 17th annual St. Croix Garden Tour. This event, which serves as a benefit for FamilyMeans, showcases some of the area?s most stunning and unique private gardens. Featured gardens are unique and offer a variety of gardening ideas. The gardens will be open on both Saturday, July 18th and Sunday July 19th, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. A Washington County Master Gardener will be on-hand at each garden to describe the plantings and answer questions. All proceeds from the event will benefit FamilyMeans, whose mission is to strengthen communities by helping families learn, work, and nurture healthy relationships. From its base in Stillwater, FamilyMeans serves communities in the Twin Cities metro area and western Wisconsin. Each year approximately 1,000 visitors from around the Midwest attend the tour, raising more than $10,000 annually to directly benefit the programs and services of FamilyMeans. For over 45 years, FamilyMeans has provided the help that individuals and families need to lead healthier and happier lives. FamilyMeans helps over 26,000 people each year find renewed hope through family counseling and mental health services, financial counseling, caregiver support and youth and family enrichment programs. To order tickets, or for more information about this year?s tour, call FamilyMeans at (651) 439-4840 or visit www.familymeans.org.
