Music Saint Croix To Spotlight American Music And Guest Talent In Courthouse Con

Music Saint Croix continues a season of vocal music as Peter Halverson comes to the Washington County Historic Courthouse for a one-time performance.
Halverson is often considered a regional talent, though his performances have taken him all around the world. He was educated at Concordia College, the University of Wisconsin, and the University of Minnesota. He has performed in the Minnesota Opera, Skylark Opera, VocalEssence, Minnesota Orchestra, and the St. Paul Chamber Orchestras, as well as Carnegie Hall and Avery Fisher Hall in New York, the Oslo Domkor in Oslo, Norway, the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC., and many others.
The program, on March 5, will include: The Capricorn Concerto for flute, oboe and trumpet by Samuel Barber; Old American Songs by Aaron Copland; Suite for Oboe, Clarinet & Viola by Randall Thompson; and Serenade No. 6 for Trombone, Viola and Cello by Vincent Persichetti.
Those interested in the show can attend the performance at 8 pm, on Saturday, March 5th, at the Washington County Historic Courthouse Stillwater, MN at 115 North 4th St. Tickets are available at the door: $16 general admission or $10 for students and seniors.Music Saint Croix To Spotlight Americ...Date and Time
