In modern Sweden, Midsummer's Eve and Midsummer's Day are celebrated from the eve of the Friday between June 19-25. It can be debated over being the most important holiday of the year and is one of the most unique Sweish by the way it is celebrated. It even had been influenced by other countries in the past. One of the main traditional celebrations is raising and dancing around a large maypole. A typical dance is the frog dance. During the dancing around the maypole there will be traditolnal music and many people are wearing traditonal folk costumes.
