Jobs Forum

U.S. Representative Michele Bachmann (MN-06) will be hosting a series of jobs forums on Monday, May 10, in four locations throughout the Sixth District of Minnesota. The forums are designed to foster discussion on the challenges and successes of creating jobs in this economy.
Local business leaders and experts from non-partisan foundations will be on hand to speak with local residents about how they are working to right our economy and get Minnesotans back to work.
“With the unemployment rate in Minnesota coming in at over 8%, Minnesotans are rightly worried about the economy, the seemingly futile policies being enacted by our government to combat it, and the future of our nation,” Bachmann said. “I hope that Sixth District residents are able to join me at one of the four forums on May 10th so we can work together to discuss new policies and opportunities for job growth as our economy struggles to regain its momentum.”
County and state employment specialists have been invited to be on-site to provide individual assistance and advice for those hiring and those seeking employment. The forums are free and open to the public.Jobs ForumDate and Time
