You will understand what an impact on both health and community you can make in purchasing locally grown foods. Included will be a list of resources for purchasing these items as well. Using clean burning fuel sources for cooking we will prepare grilled dishes using deliciously healthy, sustainable ingredients that are sourced as locally as possible: South American-style Grass-Fed Beef Kebabs; Sweet and Spicy Potatoes; local Trout (or Alaskan Salmon) with Spring Vegetables; Grilled Pizza with Fresh Herb Pesto, Arugula and Local Cheeses; and Grilled Pineapple with Coconut Ice Cream and Rum Sauce.
