Stillwater, MN. The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce celebrated the 26th Anniversary of Chuck and Judy Dougherty owning the Water Street Inn with a ribbon cutting celebration on November 4th 2021. The event took place at 101 Water Street Stillwater, MN. Owners Chuck and Judy Dougherty, their family, friends, Greater Stillwater Chamber ambassadors, members and staff were there to join in the celebration.

“The Water Street Inn.” That’s all one has to say to feel the charm in experiencing Stillwater, MN. The intimate Victorian Inn, restaurant, pub, banquet center, rooftop bar, outdoor patios and newly constructed clock tower addition tells the story of Stillwater in and of itself. The waterfront property, welcoming staff and humble yet powerful leadership from the Dougherty’s speaks to the heart and passionate people that represent Stillwater.   “It has been a long road to travel, but we have been able to travel it with the help of so many great friends,” says Chuck Dougherty at the 26th year celebration of owning the establishment. Dougherty continued, “Stillwater has changed over the last 25 years and we hope we have been a positive force in some of those changes. We are excitedly looking forward to our next 25 years and spending it with all of you great people to keep Stillwater strong and moving forward. Slainte!”  

“Slainte” indeed! The recently constructed clock tower addition and 25th celebration was originally scheduled for 2020. With the pandemic, Doughterty’s and the town had to wait patiently for this  event. When you are downtown, visiting the Pub, at breakfast or otherwise, feel free to reciprocate the joy. There is no better vision to the Dougherty's than “Slainte” and a smile. It is obvious the community looks forward to another 25 years of the Dougherty’s and the Water Street Inn!
