Chamber Welcomes St. Croix Event Center

Tricia Schwietz cut the ribbon at the Chamber ribbon cutting celebration on January 30th, 2025.  

Stillwater, MN. The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce celebrated local business St. Croix Event Center on January 30th, 2025. Tricia Schwietz cut the ribbon along with  family, staff, colleagues, friends, Greater Stillwater Chamber ambassadors and staff who were gathered for the celebration.

St. Croix Event Center is a completely remodeled space ideal for meetings and weddings. The main ballroom seats up to 350 guests, with a private parking lot, a full kitchen open to any caterer you choose, and a beautiful bar!  They also have a sound system, microphones, a podium, projector screens, television, stage, round tables and chairs and so much more.  There are 2 smaller rooms - The Cabaret Room and the Belle Ballroom, each seats up to 64 guests, each of the 3 rooms are available individually , or the entire space can be rented out and used for break out sessions at a conference, or bridal-ready rooms for weddings.

Tricia and Scott Schwietz are proud to be small, local business owners.  In addition to the St. Croix Event Center, Tricia runs Dance and Entertainment Studios, a ballroom dance studio, and Scott is a licensed General Contractor, and owner of Top Shelf Home Services, and takes credit for most of the renovation at the St. Croix Event Center.  The Space was formerly the Stillwater V.F.W. Post 323, and it is almost unrecognizable to the Veteran community now, which is all credited to Scott and Tricia and their vision to provide an alternative for those looking for a wedding, birthday, or conference space for their event.

The beautiful chandeliers, impeccable details in the decor and even in the chosen colors, from the bar, to the beautiful floors, we hope you will tell everyone looking for space for their next event to check out the St. Croix Event Center!
