In writing, voice can be described as the writer coming through the words. In this two-part writing workshop, scheduled for Thursdays, May 16 and May 23, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., writer Marge Barrett will guide participants on how to develop voice in their writing. Class will read from mentor writers, discuss how and why their voices capture, and work on writing clear and compelling pieces, letting the voice emerge. This class is made possible through the Minnesota Legacy Amendment Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
