The St. Croix Valley's first ever all ages martial arts tournament, "Valley Rumble", will be held Sunday, May 6 at Stillwater Junior High School, 523 W. Marsh St. in Stillwater. Competition begins at 10:30 a.m. Tickets for adults cost $8 and youth tickets cost $4. With hundreds of spectators and world-ranked competitors expected, the Valley Rumble provides a great family outing. The Edge Martial Arts in Stillwater is host to this tournament that features karate competitors of all ages competing in over 100 divisions, including creative, musical and extreme forms, tag team sparring, and double elimination sparring. Several nationally ranked competitors from teams throughout the area are registered to compete. The main event will showcase local brothers, Ronald and Donald Brady, world-champion sparring fighters. Food from Acapulco Restaurant will be available for purchase.
