Stewards of the Land: Artist Reception with Laurie Schneider

Join us on Saturday, April 30 for a reception featuring Laurie Schneider and her photo documentary Stewards of the Land.

This traveling exhibition, featured in the library in March – April 2016, helps people understand the relevance of regenerative farming in today’s world. Through the very nature of their work, regenerative farmers are creators and inventors,stewards and ambassadors, via the land they till and the food they grow.

Schneider has been photographing this way of life for over 20 years. Her admiration is as clear and pure as the feelings we get from the moments she captures. From lionhearted barn cats to hand turned goat cheese, Laurie’s work will undoubtedly make you hungry for something farm fresh.
