Our Adoption Day / Pet Food Drive will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2015, from NOON – 3PM at Chuck and Don’s Pet Supply Store in Hudson.
Adoption Day!
Please stop by to meet our adoptable pets needing a forever home on Sunday, June 28 from NOON – 3pm. Adoption Days are an opportunity for pets in foster care to meet the public and find the perfect match with a new owner that leads to a forever home.
Interested in Fostering? Fostering is one of the most rewarding experiences you will ever have, knowing you helped save the life of a pet and played an important role in transitioning that pet to a forever home. SCAF provides the pet needing a safe environment and pays all expenses. You provide the love and security of a caring temporary home. You can help in several ways: by being a SCAF pet foster caregiver, provide transportation for fostered pets, or conduct home inspections. Please contact Foster & Adoption Coordinator Jennifer Evens today to volunteer. 715.245.9048 or JenniferE@SCAFshelter.org
Interested in adopting one of our pets needing a home? We would love to hear from you! Pets in our foster care needing a permanent loving home can be seen on the Foster and Adoption pages of our website and Facebook. Better yet, you can meet them in person at our Adoption Day events in local stores. If you are interested in adopting one or more pets in our foster care, our Foster Coordinator will work with you through our adoption process. We thank you for making a fostered pet the newest member of your family. Please contact Foster & Adoption Coordinator Jennifer Evens at 715.245.9048 or JenniferE@SCAFshelter.org
Pet Food Drive
Please stop by Chuck and Don’s Pet Supply Store in Hudson on Sunday, June 28, between NOON and 3pm to contribute to our Reaching Out Program as well as our other animal service programs. You can select pet food items to purchase and donate to our volunteers or choose to donate cash to support all of our animal service programs: Reaching Out Pet Food Assistance, Spay/Neuter, Microchipping, Emergency Medical Assistance, and Foster and Adoption
Our Reaching Out Pet Food Program was created to help elderly, financially stressed, and disabled people keep their precious companion pets and not have to give them up. Companion pets play a vital role in the health and well-being of their owners. This is even truer in the case of people with limited mobility or stressful situations. The program provides pet care related items to qualifying individuals who need help feeding their animals. St. Croix Animal Friends also delivers pet food to St Croix County food shelves where qualifying individuals have access to our donated pet food.
People who lose their pet and have surplus pet care supplies are encouraged to contact us. St. Croix Animal Friends gratefully accepts donations in these situations.
We could use your help! Interested in volunteering to work at a pet food drive? Please contact the program manager, Michele McElmeel at ReachingOut@SCAFshelter.org.
People wishing to be considered for the program can submit an application on our website at http://www.scafshelter.org/services/reaching-out-program or contact the program manager, Michele McElmeel atReachingOut@SCAFshelter.org.
Please share information about our Adoption Events, Pet Food Drives, & Microchip Clinics with your friends and family!
