Rededication of the Soldiers and Sailors' Monument

Please join us for the rededication of the Soldiers and Sailors’ Monument on the grounds of the Washington County Historic Courthouse in Stillwater. On July 4th at the courthouse, the 34^th Infantry Band will begin playing patriotic music at 1 p.m. The Rededication program begins at 2 p.m. with music, speeches, a visit from President Lincoln and unveiling of the monument. The ceremony concludes with taps, the firing of Civil War era cannons and a quilt giveaway. For more information call 651-275-7075.
