Join us at the Hay Lake Museum Complex on Friday, September 23rd at 7:00 p.m. for a special screening of the film “An Ode to Stillwater: The John Runk Films.” Runk was perhaps best known for the thousands of photographs he took of Stillwater and the surrounding area, but this eccentric artist also dabbled in film towards the end of his life. This short film tells the story of Runk’s life, his business, his art, and the impact his work has on Washington County.
The event will begin at 7:00 p.m. and the movie will start at 7:30 p.m. Following the film, stay to mingle and meet with some of the people who helped make the film. Admission is FREE, and light refreshments (coffee and pastries) will be provided. We hope to see you there!
The Hay Lake School is located just south of Scandia, near the corner of Olinda Trail and Old Marine Trail.
