John Runk 130th Birthday Party
A SESQUICENTENNIAL CELEBRATION: Celebrate our historic hometown photographer's birthday with a traditional party. We'll have cake and refreshments, games of yore and music provided by the Dayspring players. Special tours of the St. Croix Collection, which contains Runk's photo collection, will be available. Also find out about our photo contest in honor of John Runk and pick up an entry form. Entry forms are also available at Images of the Past. Also, check out the sesquicentennial art show sponsored by 20 local artists. A feature piece called 'Minnesota's Birth" contains photos from John Runk's collection. This event is sponsored by the Friends@Stillwater Public Library.

The Stillwater Public Library (3rd Street). The birthday party will be out on the Johnson Terrace with the art show just inside in the gallery. The party will be moved indoors in case of bad weather.
