Historic Courthouse Open to Public on First Sunday of the Month
Come learn about the history of the valley at the Washington County Historic Courthouse between noon - 3 p.m. Sunday, October 4.
Visitors to the courthouse may view a video about the history of the courthouse; tour the building, including the old jail; complete an architectural scavenger hunt; and visit the current exhibit, “Made in Washington County.” The exhibit features artifacts, photos and information about inventions and products made over the years in Washington County. Many of the artifacts are on loan from the Washington County Historical Society and will be on display through the end of October.
The Washington County Historic Courthouse is at 101 W. Pine St in Stillwater. It is open to the public, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The courthouse will also be open to the public noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, October 4.
