Food for Good Health: Grass-fed Beef with Terry John Zila
Reducing the quantity of meat consumed at one meal is a healthful way to still enjoy those foods we love yet take care of our health. Grass-fed beef contains up to three times the healthful Omega-3 fats our bodies need, thus allowing us to consume less and still get the same nutritional value. Versatile beef lends itself perfectly to a budget and portion stretching menus as Chef Zila will demonstrate in this innovative menu. With just three steaks, Terry will prepare four meals which each feed a family of five. You will learn to prepare and sample Steak Enchiladas with Black Beans and Rice; Steak Salad with Arugula, Jícama with Raspberry Champagne Vinaigrette; Steak and Egg Sandwiches on Baked Parmesan Croutons with Béarnaise; and Steak, Sweet Potato and Onion Hash. We will enjoy a glass of wine with our samples.
