An Evening with Riedel Sean Petrie
We are fortunate to have one of Riedel Crystal’s wine experts join
us for a wine and glass tasting. Riedel, the first to understand
how the shape of a glass dramatically affects a wine's bouquet
and flavor, has turned knowledge into perfection. Backed by
250 years of glassmaking excellence, Riedel wine glasses and
decanters are the finest instruments in the world for enhancing
the enjoyment of wine and spirits. Please join us as Sean
Petrie discusses these properties and allows us to experience
for ourselves what a difference the proper wine glass can make
when enjoying wine. Each participant will receive a tasting set of
Vinum Riedel glasses to be used to sample several various wines
during the class. These four glasses are yours to keep (a $116
value). After checking in at The Chef’s Gallery, we will walk next
door to the caves at Luna Rossa to enjoy light appetizers and
champagne before our tasting. (The caves can be a bit chilly so
a warm sweater is recommended.) A brief history of beer brewing
in the brewery caves is included. This class will fill up quickly so
we suggest you register early.
