A Picnic at Versailles

Join Louis XVI and his lovely wife Marie Antoinette for an afternoon picnic at Versailles (aka The Outing Lodge's "dejeuner sur l'herbe").
A full picnic with meats, cheeses, desserts, fruit and lemonade is provided. Champagne and wine is available at the cash bar. Artists of all types are especially invited and welcome for an inspiring afternoon of croquet, boules, and other garden games. Dressing in a historical manner, “period attire,” will be considered Regency era through the end of the 1700s. The movies “Marie Antoinette”, “The Duchess”, “Pride and Prejudice” and “Pirates of the Caribbean” show various forms of dress that would be suitable. Period attire is admired but not required
