SUMMARY:WBB monthly meeting: ANCIENT BRAIN. MODERN WORLD.™
DESCRIPTION:MEETING AGENDA:\n\n 7:30 a | Check-in & Networking\; Visit with member display tables!\n\n 7:45 a | Delicious Breakfast Buffet and Coffee included \n\n8:00 a | Greetings & Welcome\n\n8:05 a | Announcements from WBB Steering Committee\n\n8:10 a | Member Spotlight: Mary Jackson\, Marriage Encounter\n\n8:15 a | Individual Introductions\n\n8:30-9:30 a | Featured Speaker: Sarah Line\, Boredroom Breakouts\n\n9:30 a | Networking\; Visit with member display tables!\n\n10:00 a | Step into Connection--Walk after the meeting and continue conversations!\n\n \nAt the Friday\, August 14th WBB monthly meeting\, \n\nwe welcome Sarah Line\, speaking about \n\nANCIENT BRAIN. MODERN WORLD. \n\nWe know what to do. We have more information\, better tools\, and more access than any generation before us. And still\, we often feel exhausted\, reactive\, and stuck. And still\, we are losing ground.\n\nThese aren't separate problems. They are symptoms of one system\, built for a world that no longer exists\, quietly running every part of our lives\, and it is not the one we have been training.\n\nWe have two. The thinking system\, where knowledge\, strategy\, and intention live. And the responsive system\, built for survival\, running automatically\, and overriding everything we know we should do the moment pressure hits. We have spent our lives developing the first. The second has been driving our behavior unchecked.\n\nIt is not broken. It is doing exactly what it was designed to do. In conditions it was never designed for.\n\nThis is where Responsive Intelligence begins\, the biological capacity to engage your own system\, recalibrate the errors it makes under pressure\, and channel that activation into the thinking\, decision-making\, and contribution an evolving world demands.\n\nYou will walk away with the ability to:\n\n\n	See the biological system driving patterns you've been calling stress\, burnout\, or being too busy\n	Stop blaming yourself for behaviors your biology has been driving all along\n	Recognize the difference between your thinking system and the system actually running your life\n	Identify where you've been reaching for solutions that can't address the source\n Apply a different lens to your own moments of overwhelm\, reactivity\, or shut-down\n\n\nBegin recalibrating the system that's been driving you\, instead of trying to override it.\n\n\n\n We look forward to seeing you!\n\n Register here and join us! Invite a friend! \n\nWBB members attend FREE\, if currently an active member\n\nAdditional member of your business\, $30 meeting fee\n\nNon-WBB members\, $30 meeting fee\n\nFirst time Guest\, $30 meeting fee\n\nWBB Member display table = $25\n\nMeet our Speaker: Sarah Line\n\n\n\nSarah Line is the Originator of Responsive Intelligence and is developing the emerging field of Responsive Systems Science the study of biological defaults and the science of evolving them.\n\nSarah's work began not in a boardroom but as a humanitarian\, leading diverse teams across three continents. Working alongside individuals and communities under extreme pressure\, she recognized a pattern: a deeper system driving human defaults that was consistent across cultures\, conditions\, and demographics. Then she returned home and watched leaders within organizations struggling to solve different symptoms of the same defaults and realized this was growing into a global crisis.\n\nHer humanitarian work transitioned into a decade of studying\, building\, and training a solution to help individuals and teams recalibrate these biological defaults.\n\nToday she trains leaders\, teams\, and audiences through her company Boredroom Breakouts\, making the case that the recalibration our modern world demands is not a mindset shift. It is a biological one. She still leads humanitarian trips whenever possible.\n\n\nTHANK YOU to this month's Speaker Sponsor: \n\n\n\n \n\n\nAfter the meeting: Step into Connection ~ Continue conversations with fellow WBB attendees\, about the meeting topic and more! We will walk along the River on Brown's Creek Trail ~ Be sure to bring your walking shoes!\n\n \n\n\n\nAbout Women's Business Bridge (WBB):\n\nWomen's Business Bridge is a networking group for women in business\, providing professional development and education for women of the St. Croix Valley and surrounding areas. WBB is a program of the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce and was created to give female business professionals an avenue to focus on their business\, network with other women in business and to receive personal & professional development.\n\n\n\n\n\nWomen's Business Bridge (WBB) offers an environment where\n\nwomen in business can connect with and learn from others who have similar business objectives in an informal networking atmosphere\, to ultimately grow their business.\n\n\n\nWomen's Business Bridge is the largest gathering of women in the St. Croix Valley!
