Chamber Welcomes River Dogs LLC

October 2, 2019. Stillwater, MN. The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce welcomes new member River Dogs LLC at a ribbon cutting celebration on September 23, 2019. The event took place at the Bayport Farmers Market in Bayport, Minnesota. River Dogs owners, friends, family, Bayport City Officials, Chamber Ambassadors and staff were there to join in the event.
Luke Hytinen, the mastermind behind River Dogs, has a strong passion for food and River Dogs is a dream come true. The mobile hot dog kitchen offers catering and event services that can be custom tailored to suit your needs and budget. The River Dogs owner has been formally trained in California under a master Chef in French cuisine, who also taught Luke the skills to run a successful kitchen. The stand proudly serves Vollwerth's natural casing hot dogs and sausage cooked in Chef Luke's special broth then quickly seared on the grill, and paired perfectly with locally baked rolls and freshly prepared toppings. River Dogs is quickly becoming known for its Chili dog which is Luke’s take on a Michigan style Coney. “We serve only the best quality ingredients that are simply~Doggone Delicious,” Chef Luke exclaimed. Luke created River Dogs as a way to best serve the community he calls home, a community in which he is an active participant through volunteering with local non-profits. The new business is also sponsoring lunch in October for the inaugural Leadership in the Valley Chamber program. You may run into the River Dogs red tent at the Bayport Farmers Market, a beach in Hastings, or at events in Afton and Stillwater.
Chef Luke resides with his husband and partner, Thaine Fuller, in Lakeland, but grew up in the U.P. of Michigan, where he receives his Vollwerth’s meat from. River Dogs has plans to expand the current menu and hopes to utilize as much local talent and products as possible.
Luke is most looking forward to being of service throughout the community and the expansion of this new concept. “We are extremely grateful for all of the support we have received from the community, we would also like to also thank our friends and family, Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Bayport, The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce, Washington County Parks, The City of Bayport, Bayport Community Action League, and The Afton Area Business Association for all of their support,” expressed the River Dogs .
