Hear from Margaret Smith, career coach, educator, speaker and author and the founder of UXL, speak on the topic of:
"Courage, what difference does it make?"The word courage conjurers up many images the warrior going into battle, the firefighter entering a burning building, but from a business perspective courage plays a different role. We will explore many of the ways courage shows up and where you fit in that. You will have the opportunity to do a quick assessment to determine what part of courage you are strongest in and where you may need to focus in order to be as successful as you wish. Our time together will be interactive and actionable, working together on your plan
About our Presenter:Margaret B. Smith is a career coach, educator, speaker and author and the founder of UXL. Her clients share a desire to develop leadership and management skills, learn how to achieve their goals and help others grow. She taps into her extensive business experience as she addresses contemporary workplace challenges.
Margaret ‘s recently published book, “The Ten Minute Leadership Challenge”, highlights 10 leadership behaviors that she experienced during her 30 year career in business leadership positions.
She is an adjunct professor in the Center for Sales Innovation at Saint Catherine University, a member of the National Association of Professional Women, International Women Leaders and is cited as a leading new entrepreneur in Cambridge Who’s Who, a nominee for the Women In Business award from the Minneapolis St Paul Business Journal, and Business Woman of the Year for the Stillwater Chamber.
