DESCRIPTION:The Community Thread Transportation Program needs additional volunteer drivers to meet the needs of clients\, especially those who live in the north and south areas of Washington County. There is also a need for additional volunteer drivers who live in the Hugo\, Lake Elmo\, Mahtomedi\, and Oakdale areas. Volunteer drivers receive orientation\, ongoing training\, and mileage reimbursement. Drivers set their own schedules\, choose their preferred driving areas and volunteer as little or as much as they like. If you would like to join the team of dedicated volunteer drivers\, contact Cathy Dyball at 651-439-7434 or by email at cathy@communitythreadmn.org. There is a Volunteer Information Session on Thurs.\, June 13 at 10:30am at the Community Thread office for people who are interested in learning more becoming a volunteer driver.
