DESCRIPTION:A warm winter variety show put on by the Valley Performance Troupe as a fundraiser for Youth Advantage. Special Appearance by the Minnesota Starettes!\n\n\n\nCome\, January 22nd\, support a worthy cause and be delighted by the performances of the Valley Performance Troupe! The Winter Showcase will begin at 5:30 pm and will be held at the Historic Marine Village Hall located at 121 Judd St.\, Marine on St Croix\, Minnesota. Tickets are $7.00 purchased in advance and $9.00 at the door.\n\n\n\nThe Valley Performance Troupe is an elite group of local dancers from grades 1-12 that participate in performances throughout the area. This Troupe?s engagements have included performances at the Minnesota Timberwolves\, Stillwater?s popular Teddy Bear Park\, local parades and their annual Spring Showcase. Recently\, the Valley Performance Troupe had the rare opportunity to host a workshop from Minnesota?s own Starettes\, an exciting adult dance company from Minnesota PerformDance. This precision\, high-kick and jazz dance ensemble debuted in 2006 and has been wowing fans throughout the Twin Cities ever since!\n\n\n\nValley Dance and its Performance Troupe are thrilled to be working with Youth Advantage and strongly support its mission and purpose\, ?Keeping Kids on the Path to Success?. Youth Advantage is a nonprofit organization that provides eligible young people access to activities offered in our community through financial need-based scholarships and loan of new or gently used athletic equipment\, musical instruments\, or other necessary items. Along with proceeds from ticket sales going directly to Youth Advantage\, attendees of the show are encouraged to bring gently used sports and music equipment as a donation collection will be taking place.
