DESCRIPTION:Dear Artists\, We would like to invite you to a dejeuner sur l'herbe on Monday\, August 2\, a day en plein air inspired by Manet's painting of the party on the grass. We will have an artists symposium to celebrate local creativity. Artists: Bring a sketch book\, charcoal pencils\, pastels\, oils or camera. The gardens will be so beautiful that you will want to come in the morning and leave only with the light. Also\, we'd love to see what you've already done\, so bring artwork to share with peers' don't forget an extra easel to display your work! For the artist with the best representation of the Outing Lodge at the end of the day we will give a prize gift certificate for a Culinary Outing for two (valued at $200)\; we will keep a copy of the image to use at the Lodge. The dejeuner features: Traditional English scones with homemade local Jams\, butter and clotted cream collection of petit summer sandwiches\; assortment of fresh and dried fruits and local cheeses buffet\; fresh fruit tart\; house selection of loose leaf and other special teas\; South American yerba mate infusion\, cold or hot\; homemade lemonade $35 per person.
