DESCRIPTION:The Friends of Stillwater Area Dog Park will host their first fundraising event\, Paws for the Park\, at The Town Hall at Boutwells Landing on Saturday\, February 27\, 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.  The evening will feature silent auction items\, prize drawings\, wine\, appetizers and live jazz by the SaxBeriez. \n\nGuests will also have the opportunity to meet Stillwater's own dog-celebrity\, Ruby\, winner of the 2009 MN Veterinary Medical Association Companion Animal of the Year award\, and hear Ruby's owner\, Pat Bettendorf\, tell the story of this amazing and inspiring dog. All proceeds raised will benefit the Friends of Stillwater Area Dog Park. \n\nThe cost is $20 per person. Guests may RSVP in advance or pay at the door.
