Recently the scene of high water and debris\, Lowell Park and parking lots will get a "buff & shine". The Main Street Stillwater IBA aided by the city\, local merchants and community volunteers is coordinating clean-up efforts to spruce up the park and ready it for another season of summer fun. Coffee\, juice\, water and donut holes will be provided for volunteers. Local boutiques\, specialty shops\, restaurants and B&B's are taking this opportunity to welcome residents with special deals\, steals\, tastings\, menus and demos. City firefighters and police officers will be on hand with fire trucks and squad cars available to tour. Merchants throughout downtown are offering fun family entertainment such as planting a seedling (Red Rover Kids)\, make-your-own May Baskets (Valley Bookseller) and a patio container gardening demo by Sarah's Cottage Gardens (Alfresco).
