DESCRIPTION:Color My World is an annual free community event and dinner that highlights the experiences\, activities\, and goals of girls involved in River Valleys' community initiatives: Beta Gamma Girl Scouts\, Latinas Unidas\, Hmong Womens Circle\, and the Muslim Girl Initiative. The event is aimed at recruiting volunteers of color to support the mission of Girl Scouts and offer the promise of Girl Scouting to all girls. Volunteer opportunities need not be limited by troop leader positions. Girls involved in Girl Scouting need mentors\, business tours\, financial management skills\, career options\, and even special event and topic volunteers. Color My World encourages powerful\, engaging\, and professional business and community leaders to join River Valleys' efforts to build future women leaders.
