\n On behalf of our Board\, staff and farmers at the Minnesota Food Association\, I would like to invite you to our Annual Fall Harvest Party on Saturday\, October 13\, 2012 from 3:30 &ndash\; 8 pm at Big River Farms\, located in the Wilder Forest in Marine on St. Croix\, north of Stillwater\, in the St. Croix River Valley.

\n\n The Fall Harvest Party celebrates the successful harvest and the end of the traditional growing season at Big River Farms. Minnesota Food Association&rsquo\;s Big River Farms is a comprehensive production\, distribution\, training\, and education program that trains new farmers\, promotes local food systems\, and practices sustainable\, organic agriculture. The Fall Harvest Party is an opportunity to spend the afternoon at the farm and learn more about our Programs and local food systems. Come meet the farmers\, staff\, and Board\, walk the fields\, meet folks with similar interests and enjoy a horse-drawn hayride\, grill roasted whole pig\, live music by &ldquo\;Light of the Moon&rdquo\; and a bonfire. \; The event is a potluck\, with some light food and beverage provided\; please bring something to share if you can. Families and children are very welcome\, and bring your friends. \;Our Party Flyer is attached\, please feel free to distribute widely.

However\, free will donations in any amounts will be accepted at the door. \;Please bring your family and friends.
