SUMMARY:7th Annual Mini-Fundraising Birding Event
DESCRIPTION:YOU are Invited to the 7th Annual Mini-Fundraiser BIRDING EVENT at Arcola Mills\, an historic saw mill site\, on the St. Croix River. \n\n\n\nCome - Bring a friend!\n\n\n\nBeginners welcome!  \n\n\n\nWe will provide binoculars and special small group walks for first time and novice birders.  Please invite your friends and relatives.  \n\n\n\nBirding leaders Val Cunningham\, Julian Sellars\, Clay Christensen\, Chae Davies\, Ben Wilson\, and Bonnie Sample will take small groups on bird walks on the 50 acres St. Croix River shoreline property.  \n\n\n\nTypically seen are 50 species on a May morning - but if the weaher is better - it could be more.  \n\n\n\nThis event is also a monirotinr event for part of the St. Croix Bluffs Audubon Important Bird Area.  Bonnie Sample will lead those intereeted in the MN Breeding Bird Atlas project.  \n\n\n\nKaren Eckman - event organizer - is pledging "A Buck-A-Bird" again this year to support sustaining this priceless conservation site on the Wild and Scenic St. Croix River.\n\n\n\nThe event will take place no matter what the weather.  The only think that will keep us inside is lightening!
